Spring Creek's 12" Slip-on Portage Wheels with UR

Why carry that canoe when you can roll it!

Made from lightweight aluminum this 12" Slip-on Portage Wheel Kit attaches easily to any canoe. Just insert the wheel frames into our Universal Receiver and you are ready to roll! Then when you get to the water, it easily detaches with just the push of a pop-pin!

These Slip on portage wheels are strong and best used on smoother paths.

Tires are inflatable. 12" high and 2" wide with spoked rims.

Quick slip-on tire frames go right into the Spring Creek Universal Receiver crossbar, which is included.

Stabilize the wheels with couple quick straps and you're ready to go down the trail/portage!

Review:

This is easily the best canoe cart i've ever owned, and i have had a few. They were toys compared to this one.
The quality is first-rate and the cart is best described as ROBUST!

Plus the universal receiver will let you use a variety of accessories.

But the biggest advantage is one Spring Creek fails to mention in its catalog.

This cart, unlike any i have ever seen, lets you carry your canoe on it upside down.

Chances are your canoe is in the yard right now upside down to keep out rain, waiting for its next use.

You'll have to dig out your cart from the shed, turn the canoe over, lift it on and strap it down though few carts make it easy to use straps.

Why not just keep it upside down on the cart in the yard when not in use?

Ditto at the campground when you have to walk it a few hundred yards to the boat ramp.

Most canoes, when not in use, are kept upside down and have to be manhandled unto carts that require they be right-side up, but not this one. You can use it either way.
