Spring Creek's 16" Slip-on Portage Wheels with Universal Receiver

Made from lightweight aluminum this 16" Slip-on Portage Wheel Kit attaches easily to any canoe. Just insert the wheel frames into our Universal Receiver and you are ready to roll! Then when you get to the water, it easily detaches with just the push of a pop-pin!

This kit includes:

16" Wheelbarrow Style inflatable tires and frames. These tires act as a great shock absorbers and add floation in mud or sand.
Spring Creek's Universal Receiver and clamps. If you need help sizing your canoe for the UR please see our FAQ page or call us directly and we will be happy to help you find the correct size. 36", 40" or 45" are standard.
Stabilizing straps.

Load limit is 250 lbs.

Total kit weighs approximately 28lbs.

Review:

I just completed canoeing in the Bowron Lake Provincial Park in BC Canada. The trip consisted of 7 lakes, 2 rivers, and 6 portages....over 120 km. I used the 12" slip on wheels and was very satisfied with their performance. The portages consisted of mud, sand, rutted and worn trails, and rocky areas. The wheels held up well and worked as advertised.
