Polyethylene molded floats will provide you with all the safety and stability you will ever need! They come with our Universal Receiver and clamps to attach quickly and easily to any canoe! Hydrodynamic floats are a better choice when motoring, sailing or kayaking.

Complete package comes with Universal receiver and clamps, 2 Hydrodynamic Floats with tubes and float arms.

Floats can be adjusted up and down and extend a maximum width out of 21" from the sides of your boat.

To size your canoe for a UR, first, measure your canoe at it's widest point. Measuring the widest point
gives you the option to place the UR anywhere on your canoe that is comfortable. Most canoe gunwales
have inside lips for clamping, meaning your clamps will be on the inside of the canoe. However,
some canoe gunwales have outside lips, and in this case your clamps will clamp to the outside of your
canoe. If this is your circumstance, please go up one UR size when ordering.

I ordered one set. Loved them so much I ordered a second set for my parents. I now have a set of both, but truly love the Hydrodynamic Floats. Its worth the extra cost! Both are awesome but pay the extra.

Very high quality, work well on my Mad River Missisquoi square-stern canoe. My only complaint is that it is hard to tighten the vertical adjustment. They tighten much like a battery cable tightens on a battery post. The plastic knob seems designed to be turned by fingers and it is very hard to tighten it sufficiently with your fingers. A knob more like what you find on an outdoor garden faucet would be better as you could use arm strength rather than finger strength.

I found it easier to just leave the floats assembled once tightened but they take up more room that way.

But once in use they make the canoe rock solid.

Review:

As a former fly fishing guide in the BWCA and Quetico Park I used these floats constantly with fly fishing clients. The floats allowed the angler to stand and cast safely and easily, which resulted in better casts and more fish. The stabilizers are also great for use with young kids because it allows them to move around with little risk of tipping the canoe over. I highly recommend these!

I purchased these floats for my Hobie Kayak for salt water fishing and I use them to sail. I also bought the clamps to use them in my Old Town Discovery canoe for fishing. Truly excellent stability in all applications and easy to install.

Review:

Outstanding design. Easy on, easy off, easy to adjust. I enjoy exploring urban waterways and you don't want any chance of swamping in some of the pollution levels I run into. These allow me to comfortably use a 3 horse gas engine and avoid having to use a second vehicle as we paddle one way and then motor back. I can remove them easily on the water for ease of paddling which is important since many urban rivers are channelized with no shore to pull up on. I put them on for security on lakes when youngsters want to canoe. Haven't tried fishing with them yet but should be no problem. I think I could dance in the canoe when these are on.

Review:

These work great. You can not tip over with them in place and they can be adjusted so they do not drag in the water and slow you down. If you fish, photograph, or otherwise are involved in an activity that takes your focused attention you need these.
